How to Register

7th to 12th Grades

Registration starts on May 15 ($10 fee discount/student by July 1; $10 late fee/student after August 5) and closes October 1. Registration Forms are available from the parish center and by email.

Each of the programs start the second full week of September with MANDATORY STUDENT-PARENT MEETINGS. Families already enrolled or needing to enroll must attend!! Students must be accompanied by at least one parent or adult relative. Children cannot attend the meeting alone.

At the meetings, we will discuss program aspects, schedule, guidelines and traffic patterns. Registration forms will be available at these meetings. The mandatory meetings are at the School Gym on 1961 Plum St. For dates and times, please contact the Youth Ministry office 741-4900 ext. 210.

* Middle School Ministry: For incoming 7th and 8th graders. This class is offered in English.

Class meets Wednesdays in the St. Joseph School gym 6:30-7:45 pm, September to May. Due to the Diocesan Guidelines of adult-to-student ratio; the only way we will increase class size is for parents to commit to volunteering as teacher aides for this class.

* Youth Ministry (1st year Confirmation Preparation): For incoming 9th to 12th graders. This class is offered in English.

The first year of Confirmation Preparation involves one year of high school Youth Ministry and one (mandatory) parish Youth Ministry retreat in December. Starting in September, this group meets Mondays in the St. Joseph School gym 6:30-8:30 pm, September to June.

* Confirmation Preparation (2nd year students): For the 10th to 12th grade candidates who fulfill the first year requirements. This class is offered in English.

Candidates eligible for 2nd year preparation are incoming 10th to 12th graders who have completed one year of parish high school Youth Ministry and one parish Youth Ministry retreat. Confirmation meets primarily on the second and fourth Sundays in September to May, in the St. Joseph School 3:00-5:00 pm. A mandatory aspect of the program includes candidates attending the 5:30 pm youth Mass whenever class is scheduled.
